Welcome

Still gaming after all these years…

Rich Mahogany was formed as a guild in Guild Wars on 16th October 2010. The name comes from rank 5 of the Kind of a Big Deal title track in the game. (Kind of a Big Deal, People Know Me, I’m Very Important, I Have Many Leather-Bound Books, My Guild Hall Smells of Rich Mahogany, God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals). It was held together by the philosophy of playing together and helping each other. The Guild that Plays Together, Stays Together. Guild Wars 2 launched, and much of the guild moved there for a short while, and then into other games briefly. Mostly original members formed a new Rich Mahogany in games where it did not yet exist. Finally the guild became a growing entity again in Elder Scrolls Online. For many years, we had an interactive website, with forums, discussions, competitions, photographs - everything you expect. Somewhere there’s even a forgotten Facebook page. Nowadays, there is Discord, which has replaced all of that. A sudden resurgence in interest in Guild Wars has led to a superfast remake of this website, mainly to republish old but relevant articles and information.
